I like this song by Primus, mainly for its sound. Its called American Life and Les Claypool seems to feel that its degraded compared to the quality of life around the world. Les is a successful bassist. Worth north of $40 million dollars. I would imagine that hes traveled around this world somewhat extensively, just as I traveled about it in the Navy. Where Les and I seem to disagree, is that I did my fair share of community projects in almost every port I set foot upon. What I found is that in most of those countries, our poor people would constitute their middle class or even well to do citizens. I would highly recommend that Les and his band mates take a trip down to play a ditty or two down in a place like Rio De Janeiro and head up into the hillside slums off the mountain sides to take notes. youtube/watch?v=OqYYp5cTuM8
