I like what james Cameron said in the Nat Geo special TITANIC: Final words with James Cameron which i immediately transcribed after watching so I could share it with you. Pushing forward with so much momentum that it couldnt stop until it turns into a disaster, thats what we have right now. Within the human system on board that ship, you have different classes, youve got first class, second class, third class. In the world, youve got developed and undeveloped nations. Youve got the STARVING MILLIONS who are gonna be the once that will be most affected in the next ICEBERG that were gonna hit which is CLIMATE CHANGE. We can see that ICEBERG right now but we cannot turn, we cannot turn because of the MOMENTUM OF THE SYSTEM, POLITICAL MOMENTUM, BUSINESS MOMENTUM, THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE MAKING LOTS OF MONEY OUT OF THE SYSTEM, THE WAY THE SYSTEM WORKS RIGHT NOW. Frankly there are people who have their hands on the Leaders in Power and they are not willing to let go. Until they let go, were not gonna be able to turn around that iceberg and were gonna hit it. THE RICH will still be able to have access on food, land and water but its the POOR thats gonna be IMPACTED just like in TITANIC. Thats why the story will always fascinate people because its a PERFECT LITTLE ENCAPSULATION OF THE WORLD but until our lives is put at risk, the moment of truth, WE DONt KNOW WHAT WE WILL DO.
