I listen to the message just like I have hundreds of times before, - TopicsExpress

I listen to the message just like I have hundreds of times before, we are calling to remind you of your upcoming cat-scan and Dr.s appointment. The message used to bring me to my knees in tears. Just knowing what laid ahead of me struck fear, uncertainty, anxiety and for days I would loose control over everything else around me. As I have walked this journey with my Lord, my faith in Him has grown and that has all changed. He has carried me through every moment and shown me courage and strength within me I never knew I had. As the phone rang last week to remind me of tomorrows appointment, I dropped to my knees but in a very different way. God brings me to my knees because that is where I am closest to Him in prayer. He brings me to my knees in praise for all that He has done in my life. Today as I praise Him, I reflect by sharing four great promises that He has shown me in my journey with Him. He is the truth that keeps me living each day. Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. The Lord is my rock. When everything else has failed around me, He has never failed. Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. In God, there is no fear and anxiety, only peace for those who trust Him to deliver them. Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord who has mercy on you. The most precious promise that has kept me going is I know my Lord is my redeemer, he bought back life for you and I at the Cross so that no matter what happens here on earth we will have life in heaven. Life is so much more precious now that I understand I dont have to live the way I once did, I am still here a walking, living miracle of God and I will use every breath I have breathing in the sweet life and promises God has blessed me with. Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
