I live in a box. I built it. I am very comfortable inside of my box. And when things come into my box, well, I just dont like it. What does my box look like? Its made up of little things that I do each day that become my routine. I have gotten to the point of each day virtually repeating itself. It is time to get out of my box. You see, when we have God living with us, He cannot be put into a box. And though I may want to stay here, He wants me to move. For the truth is, I am putting Him in my box. We try to keep God in a box. We say He is all loving and kind. He is. But we forget that He hates sin and He will one day pour His wrath out on sinners. He really will. For those who do not have Jesus, there will be no mercy and no grace. They will not feel loved. He is ever patient and slow to anger. He must be. Look at our world today. We call evil good and good evil. But the world is still here. But the global warming or climate change is coming. Not the way some people who worship the creation think it is, but it will get very uncomfortable for many people. There will be wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes. And that is happening right now. Its heating up. Today as we watch the news, we can visualize another global war breaking out. There is tension in almost every part of world. That is Satan. He cannot rest. We are truly in a spiritual war. And my proof? Why is it always the Jewish people who are attacked? And the Christians? There is as much persecution on Christians than any other time in history. Just like the Bible predicts. The end times. Is it now? No one knows, certainly not me. But it could. Everything is set. Since Jesus ascended to heaven, people have been waiting for His return. And He is coming to gather His children and remove them from the earth before all hell breaks out. Revelation 7:16-17 ESV They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Take God out of the box you have put Him in in your mind. Read who He really is in His word. Listen to His prophets today explain the mysteries and purposes of God. Do not listen to false teachers and men who are not prophets, but are only profiting from what they say. God, today I ask that You would give us Your direction and take us out of our boxes. Help us to see our sin and be disgusted by it, so that we would be convicted and want to change. Give us the power to make good choices and the power to change. The power that is found in Christ Jesus. In Jesus Name.
