Starting at 2PM I will present using photos, video, and sound/music to capture my brief history in the world of roots music. ALSO in the 2nd Hour As part of the event I wanted to include those who have create a wonderful environment to celebrate this music - all in different ways. At 3pm we will visit the history of folk music in Calgary and discuss the events that have lead to the most vibrant scene in all of Canada. I WILL ASK EACH OF YOU TO SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES and talk about your club. THE Canadian Folk Music Awards will be held in Calgary November 8-10th and Suze Casey will be providing details of this exception event. Performances : Cara Luft and Bella Hardy
