I love Eastwood. I like War movies. I havent seen American Sniper yet. I trust Clint to do a good job, despite this film obviously having a pro-american standpoint. That being said; that The Interview is pretty much universally reviled for its poor taste. American Sniper is allowed to stand on high ground while (unintentionally) inflating a racist and hateful population who doesnt understand anything about whats going on the middle east. That makes me more angry than a dumb movie. Seth Rogen & Clint Eastwoods movies have both been hot button topics, but only one of them is open to radical misinterpretation by its consumer base. I dont think anyone was going to take The Interview seriously except for North Korea. Is Free speech is only as good as the idiots listening? Whos crazier? Radical angry Muslims & Arabs whove had everything stripped away from them by americans for half a century? Or Hateful greedy white people who watch a movie about the toils of war and is inspired by this mans act of valour and emotional mountains to kill rag heads How would americans or canadians feel if south korea made a movie about killing their president or prime minister? -My dad at x-mas. I think someone should. I would go see a movie about how annihilating the USA and beheading the prez actually saves planet earth. Radically shaking up the narrative about just who is good and who is bad. theladbible/articles/seth-rogen-has-compared-american-sniper-to-a-nazi-propaganda-movie
