I love Grammy night!! 8 years ago, Lenny and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to attend live. Honestly, one of the highlights of my life/career. It was a business trip for me but absolutely amazing. We hung out with Lil John and his posse (I love how I type that like I knew who he was). I had no idea who he was so I called Mark to ask him who Little John was. His response, Ah...Mom...its Lil John and he is going to be a huge star. We were staying at the same hotel as he and his gang. We also spent time with a young man named Pharrell. He was very fond of my good friend, Maureen Crane. He gave us his CD and I remember telling him it was a tough business and not many people make it. Guess what...Pharrell is enjoying a very successful career in music, most recently with Robin Thicker in Blurred Lines!! Being in LA, having my hair done at the famous Marco Pelusi Salon BY Marco...visiting The Grove...walking the Green Carpet (B-listers!!)...pulling up in our limo...sipping cocktails poolside with Rueben from American Idol...going to the amazing after party sitting on a cushion next to Josh Duhamel as we watched Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas perform in front of us. Still get the thrills watching the Grammys and will always be thankful to have been a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience!!
