I love Jesus!! Just this morning, I was praying about Christine and asking the Lord for wisdom and strategy. Shortly thereafter, I got a text from Betsy Reed Nash who said shed felt the Lord stirring her to a prayer vigil for Christine, where we all take shifts of praying. This was confirmed in my spirit immediately. So, Im writing to ask for you help! I would like for all of us to pray at 8:00 (instead of 8:30) and then if you would please sign up below for a hour-long shift of prayer tonight. I really feel this is the Lords will, and will turn the tide. Things to remember: sometimes in prayer for situations like this, its easy to get focused on the problem (especially if you love the person and are battling fear). We want to focus on Jesus (the answer), His love for Christine, and His power. Prayers that ask why and deal with our own emotional upheavals are not wrong, (they may benefit and comfort us), but they dont necessarily help heal the sick. Its the prayer of FAITH that heals the sick. Thats why Jesus said the work of the disciple is to BELIEVE. So, as you pray in your shift tonight...please use scripture...insert Christines name in it. Sing to the Lord, praise Him, see her well. See the angels siphoning the fluid off, see the enemy running in fear; see Jesus touching her body. Lets pray in faith, sisters! If someone already has the time slot you want, feel free to join in that one as well. Id love to have more than one person praying in each slot from 8pm-8am. Thank you, friends!
