I love a good story...... This is Debbie, and she is the most awesome UPS driver in the world! My husband broke his sunglasses last weekend. He sent them back to the company to get repaired and paid an extra chunk of cash for overnight shipping. Well, they were set to be delivered this morning in Auburn just in time for our beach trip. However, they were accidentally loaded onto the wrong truck, Debbies truck in Tuskegee, not the Auburn truck. Keep in mind this is not Debbies fault. At all. Still, Debbie noticed the error and immediately and called Travis this morning. He offered to get them later, but when he mentioned we were going to the beach, Debbie decided he needed them and she was going to get them to him no matter what. Well, they talked several times today as they both tried to meet up. My husband is a contractor and was wide open on job sites trying to finish up a short holiday week. So, at 5:45 tonight after a long day of deliveries in hot weather, Debbie could have been home cooling off after a hard day. Instead, she pulled up in her big UPS brown truck at a gas station in Auburn to hand deliver us the sunglasses on our way out of town! She had a huge smile on her face and Travis is thrilled to have them back and very thankful to Debbie. Debbie, I hope this post gets shared a million times on Facebook and your UPS supervisors give you a promotion! Debbie, this was not your problem and an issue you could have easily ignored and nobody would have been the wiser. You didnt. You went above and beyond! You obviously take a great deal of pride in doing your job and top notch customer service so you took care of it! Debbie, you are awesome! God Bless America and our new friend at UPS!
