I love how the only problem when the Barneys Shopping While Black shoppers recognize is that they were profiled and not that they both wasted lots of money on buying overpriced items because they saw folks in entertainment own them. I dont know who is more ignorant... Barneys for profiling kids who spend more money than they make in a week on one fashion accessory or the kids who bought the items for buying them because a hip hop artist or singer has them. Theres no reason that a 21yr old pregnant nursing student with a $35 weave should be dropping $2500 on a bag that she had to save for months to get and that she idolized since she first saw it or that a young kid should spend 350$ on a belt!!!!!! That he purchased because a rapper owned it and he thought it would make him look rich and fashionable. You were both profiled because you arent people who normally buy these products, not because you are black but because no KID should be buying those items. You have a right to buy them, you also have the right to grow a half a brain and save your money for shit that matters like a better education, your baby due in 2mos or common sense... oh wait that cant be bought.
