I love how these conspiracy theorist lunatics think that the increase of aurora borealis is some sign of an impending alien cataclysm. Factual information is readily available if theyd just PAY ATTENTION! The sun is on its 11 year cycle and its magnetosphere is about to flip on its polar axis any day now. Therefore, deductive reasoning tells us that increased solar activity equates to an increase in solar radiation and CME bursts. And when those CME bursts gets trapped within earths magnetosphere, voilà- You get aurora borealis. There is no Niburu. There is no alien mothership. If we can spot a 10 mile wide pulsar 6 billion LYs from earth, Im pretty certain we know whats in our own back yard. Though the internet is a great thing in that it allows for the extrapolation of information at the touch of a finger, it also also allows for complete idiots to twist reality and stir up even bigger complete idiots who then have idiot children that use tomorrows technology to mass produce the idiots of the future. (Digression: I think Ill cover this in another post). So yeah, now theres YouTube channels dedicated to the fact that the increase of aurora borealis is a harbinger of doom. Motherships my ass. I sense a Michael Bay movie will be in theaters within a few weeks.
