I love it, just love it, when people are open and honest about their faith. Why? Because I think it combats all the negative talk and connotations out there about how religion is bad or it leads only division or war - Why are we such cynics? Always looking for the bad in situations? In people? If you want to tell me about Jesus - how he saved and loves you, then by all means do so. I wont think youre trying to evangelize me. If youre a Jehovahs Witness and want to come to my door, please do so. How lovely, well mannered and well dressed you all are. If you want to tell me about Allah and how important your prayer hours are, then by all means do so. How disciplined and devoted you are. If you are an Atheist, or Agnostic and you want to intelligently discuss scientific evolution, by all means. Please share with me sciences latest discoveries. If you are Pagan and you want to tell me from the core of your heart about the sanctity of trees or the magic in a flower, please ... talk to me about nature and her love. What I am trying to say is, never be afraid to share your core beliefs, your voice ... You never know who is silently living in the shadows or in shame - who is living a limited existence because they are afraid that their feelings, thoughts are not good enough. I dont know about you, but I am proud to live in a nation that honors my freedom of religion, my freedom of expression ... I honor that in me and in you.
