I love it when people make me think... I posted a few days ago saying that I just gained more respect towards Sia for having an interpreter alongside with her at her SNL performance. After posting it, I saw several people bringing a different light towards Sias performance. I guess, like this lady on the video said, that I trust Sia and her artistic spirit based on her previous work. Shes always thinking outside of box and pushing the boundaries. I know that shes very abstract in her work and I guess I saw that by using mime as a interpreter is her clever way of expressing voice that hearing people often mistook as silence. I guess I read more into it than it probably really is but yeah, where does it fall upon our cultural lines? What do you guys think? Im curious.
