I love my church. Every time I step through those doors, I feel capable of doing anything I set my mind to. I dont feel like a failure, or a loser, or a disappointment. Its like Im flawless, fully accepted with no strings attached. Sometimes, most times, my self-esteem is challenged, and sometimes I fall into moments and days of grief, but what I love about my church is that when I walk in those doors, all those emotions fall off of me and are burned. I CANT feel any negative emotions there. I smile more when Im there, I laugh more when Im there, I really experience the REAL me there. But now, its just a matter of taking THAT Chris back home with me, and honestly, thats still a process for me, but thank the LORD for my church and church family. They are making this walk easier to walk.
