I love my future career choice.. but thinking about it.. theres one thing Im not so sure Ill be able to do. All my life I wanted to be a hockey player, and when I quit I decided that writing about hockey was the closest thing I could do other than coach, so I grew to love my job with the opportunities I have had to get close to the game without being on the ice. The one thing that scares me though is that no matter how hard I try.. Ill never be able to put the same amount of heart and soul into writing hockey as I did playing hockey. I am lucky to have a great boyfriend, family and friends who support me. Jesse, you have really encouraged me to keep going when I thought I never could and I want to thank you for that. You made me realize that I can show my love of hockey in other ways, right now though, Im really afraid I wont be nearly as good of a sports writer as I could have been a hockey player because I loved being on the ice so much more than writing about it
