I love my heart for I love all people regardless of how they look - TopicsExpress

I love my heart for I love all people regardless of how they look or what they believe in in terms of creed or no creed. I know good people exist in all human groups, and we as open minded and literate human beings should never generalize about any ethnicity, religion or culture. With that said my heart broke today while I was out for a run and I saw a beautiful young lady sitting at the side of the road and crying with tears filled with sorrow. So I asked what was the matter, and she told me that her Sikh lover had decided to leave her after six years because his parents do not approve of their son with a Muslim. And he had left her stranded on the corner of the street. My heart really went out for her. When I came home I decided to search Sikh and Muslim relationships. And to my surprise , most of the cases were the same as the girl I had meet; Sikh boy falls in love with Muslim girl, hides the relationship from his parents and then leaves her heartbroken. So I started wondering if this was something most Sikhs did to Muslim girls since the majority of Sikhs are taught hate against the Muslims , according to research, even in their place of worship because of historical warfare between the two groups in the region known as Pakistan today. If Sikh parents have such large infkuence ans power over their kids, and the son is taught hate against the Muslims, in many cases, why does he pursue a rerelationship with a Muslim girl which will not go anywherw but only lead to a broken Muslim girls heart? Like I had stated, good and bad people exist everywhere. Im sure their are many good Sikh people who dont hate others because of religion. But its also a good idea for people to be aware.
