I love that people are trying to eat healthier, but please, please, please understand what healthier means. If youre 5ft tall and weigh 220 lbs, dont try to convince me that you eat healthy when I question your diet. Reality check. No more pictures of you feeding your kids hot dogs or talking about trips to Taco Bell. I know you love your families so stop feeding them foods that are setting them up for illness. Tilapia, no matter how it is prepared or how pretty you make it is GARBAGE! All soy (some exceptions) is GMO and screws with our thyroid and estrogen (even in men) so if youre making dishes with tofu, you might as well just eat the meat. I have a lot of friends who are peanut butter junkies, but take time to know your peanut butter. Does it have sugar added? Does it have palm oil (bad fat) to make it smooth and creamy? Peanut butter should have nothing but peanuts and, maybe, some sea salt. Stirring it will be good exercise. It isnt for lack of information out there. Do your research and dont just rely on what people tell you is good. Always consider the source and your sources training. Remember your doctor was not required to take any nutrition classes in med school so taking nutrition advice from him/her is not a wise move.
