I love the Bible. Its a fantastic story that also has the power to change your life. But, I do admit, even as a pastor, it can sometimes get tedious to sit there reading it. I know its actually a series of letters all put together in a single volume, and I try to break up my reading accordingly. Still, when youre doing serious study, it can be difficult in this media drive, fast food mindset culture of ours to focus. So, here comes the Sourceview Bible. What a great idea! Its the Bible in its full text, presented in a manuscript format such as a play or movie production would be done. It lists the characters speaking, gives the lines, and other helpful information. It makes reading the Bible smooth and gives it a fun, fresh perspective. Im excited to get my copy when it comes out, and I hope youll check it out too! I have used a few copies in the childrens ministry to have the kids act out the stories. This is a great presentation of the Bible, and a great resource for families!
