I love the ocean6 so when I checked out the freestyle Latin sites for the one with the ocean and large ship... i was super pleased to find the telenovela of La Tempestad. I was a little daunted to watch it. I had 6 years of Spanish between high school and junior college, but i have tried to continue on my own since then (about 40 years ago!). but for the most part i could understand the dialogue and plot. I am really enjoying it. Unlike the crap Americano, it was great to see characters pray and mention "nuestro Senor" in respect . Men even rugged sailors were shown to embrace and cry openly. There was even a Godmother character who went around led by the Holy Spirit and would bless others with the sign of the cross. I would like to be like her. So for this Gringa, muchas gracias!
