I love the smell of rain and freshly cut grass though my hay fever always kicks in without fail. I love the smell of fresh bread and coffee in the morning, of freshly laundered linen and burning frankincense. I love waking up to the sound of the call to prayer in the morning. I love the feeling of cold water first thing in the morning. I like having breakfast early in the morning while rearranging my thoughts. I love walking in the rain with my headphones on listening to the Quran surrounded by nature. I love going on buses, trains and sitting in cafès to people watch. I love observing how people make connection and more than that I love connecting with people on a deep level. I love books and their smell. I love puns and terrible jokes. I love when someone turns away smiling at a joke I told. I love hugs that linger a tad longer after Ive let go. I love tender moments and random declarations of love. I love long walks at sunrise. I love the look on peoples faces when theyve made a new discovery. I love the feeling of a cool glass of water on a warm summer day and tea and biscuits indoors on a winter evening. I love late night random discussions with my family. I love my little nieces special kisses, random deep moments and anytime cuddles. I love when people randomly remember Im gluten intolerant and try to accommodate me. I love comfortable silent moments. I love people I dont have to explain myself to. I love looking at the clear sky in awe of the moon and stars. I love learning new languages and cultures. I love unique, profound and passionate people. I love people who allow themselves to just feel. I love randomly inventing recipes pretending Im a culinary artist. I love cartoons. I love crawling into bed after a really long day. I love hearing people laugh. I love when my mum impersonates me and tries to make me laugh. I love my dads lopsided grin. I love how my siblings and I tease each other. I love family dinners full of love and conversations. I love randomly buying people gifts. I love to love. And most of all I love the Lord that made all this possible and the mercy He sent us as a teacher, salallahu alayhi wasalam.
