I love this word Hubris . A friend introduced me into it ,and i found it psychologically fascinating. It is a greek word that explains arrogance at its highest level. It is when one is pompous at the level of insanity. Back in the early seventies, there was a mentally deranged man who claimed to have a degrees higher than PHD . He claimed to have earned DL degree ( devels level) and G L degree ( Gods level) . The irony here is that hubris tend to fall in this category of insanity. If you look around, you will see hubris in you neighbor hoods and often in your jobs. They Will try to control or run things around you if you let them. Do not be deter or be intimidated by them.
