I love watching as Ken takes care of the animals, their reactions and expressions are priceless and when you are right there with them you often miss the expressions. Tonight I had my phone out to snap a few pics when Ken was taking a feed bucket out to the horses. Louie, the Clydesdale Colt is the only one that needs anything extra besides pasture grass, the other two are plump, but think they are starving, so Ken passes the bucket between them only allowing the other two to have just a tiny taste for a second while leaving it with Louie for several minutes at a time. You can see Hondos excitement as Ken approaches the fence with the bucket, you can see all of them impatient with Ken as he shakes to mix the feed and supplement, and you can really tell by watching him pass it between them that Doc is letting Ken know that he is bored while Louie gets to eat (BIG yawn). Sometimes Ken will move the bucket, left to right and watch all of their heads move as though they were watching a tennis match. Im going to have to video that sometimes, its pretty cute.
