“I love you every day. And now I will miss you every day.” When I received the call from my little sister two nights ago, it was exactly 1:43 am, a time I always made wishes on (besides 11:11) because someone once told me you wish for a loved one at that time. It represents the number of letters in I love you. Its silly and childlike to always make these wishes, but Ive always taken it very seriously because I think if you wish for the right things, or the right people, the wish will come true in the long term. Although my heart continues to break a little more every second, I think 奶奶 was telling me through the clock that shes watching over us and to live and give with an unceasing cascade of love. Rest in peace my dearest grandma.
