I made a comment earlier (still up) concerning hands on discipline of children. That by no means mean that I condone abuse. What happened with Adrian Peterson and his child is in the hands of the courts and I dont know what happened in that case but I do know that momma and grandmas discipline with a switch to my legs didnt teach me right from wrong IT HELPED ME REMEMBER right from wrong and reminded me that there were serious consequences when you made the wrong decisions. Child abusers should be held accountable and severely punished but someone who disciplines their child should also be commended in todays world. Whats abuse? Is ita sswitch wrapped around your leg or is it buying them video games and essentially putting them in solitary confinement and not spending time with them? So many people spend little time with their kids and let society teach them right from wrong. Again, Id never condone child abuse and would have no problem abusing abusers but I also wont criticise discipline.
