I made a half-dozen hard-boiled eggs last night. (Thats the good part.) When I drained them (here comes the bad part) the lid flew off and I scalded the entirety of my inner right forearm. My frail, fish-belly-white skin does not like this at all! I applied ice right away and, luckily, it didnt blister; but, even with that, the pain is acute today. Giving the big red patch lots of fresh air and cold compresses. Sheesh. Who knew eggs could bite back?
