I made a lovely red grapefruit sorbet. . .the texture was quite creamy. I was going to use a tablespoon of vodka but apparently we have none. . .this is what makes the texture so smooth. so I used pomegranate liqueur instead! for dinner there was a roasted butternut squash, onion, red pepper and black bean dish. it seemed quite sweet, due to roasting everything. time to make some cookies: almond butter/flour and dark chocolate and cappuccino chips with a few pecans tossed in for texture. gil likes to have cookies to munch. so may as well make them more healthful. . .
