I made my version of these cookies for breakfast. My mom, Genevieve DeMoss started making them some time ago. What I do differently is coconut oil and no raisins if Im going to eat them. If I take a notion, I may stir in a bit of peanut butter. Theyre very versatile. No added sugar, only honey and maybe a bit of molasses. Also, I use buttermilk. They fill you up and you stay full. The fiber content with whole grain and nuts and oatmeal is wonderful and I always have more stable sugar levels on the days I eat these. They cook quickly and dont get the kitchen too hot. #healthychoices
