I made this comment in the Coloradoan and it appears below, but I wanted to put on my Status so that others can see just what kind of incompetence I am having to deal with in my DR case in the 8th JD. I think these comments by Officer Barbara Bowman were not slip up, or statements made in hast. I think these statements reflect the true feeling of how the Larimer County Sheriffs Department see the public. Well, one can only wonder who else has been through the courts and have been wrongfully convicted because those like Officer Barbara Bowman and others at the Larimer County Sheriffs Department cannot do simple investigative work. Many of you from what I call the Colorado Outback, do know that my father practiced veterinary medicine out of Limon, Colorado for 50 years. I guess, if those at the Larimer County Sheriffs Department cannot investigate and find that out, then I am sure that for them to gain any understanding of what the academic certification that my father holds in Theriogenology, will be way above the intellectual capacity for the Larimer County Sheriffs Department to understand. Is this really how low the standards are for those work in law enforcement today? My comment in the Coloradoan follows: I just finished speaking with Larimer County Sheriffs Deputy Barbara Bowman (L10009) and few telling things came out from this conversation. One Officer Bowman, stated that she knows my father is/was not a veterinarian out in Limon. I think, that statement speaks volumes about the lack of investigative skills of the Larimer County Sheriffs Department. As my father has practiced out here since 1962, one really has to question if those who work at the Sheriffs Department can understand anything and can investigate anything. Officer Bowman, gave me what I think is a very telling reply to my statement, You are not doing your job. Officer Bowmans answer was, That is nothing new. Well, I guess I can expect to be intimidated every time I go into the Court House at 210 LaPorte Ave, and to be surrounded by Larimer County Sheriffs Deputies, just because I am complying with orders from the courts, and every instruction given to me, and those like Officer Bowman think that being questioned as if had committed a murder is upholding my constitutional right to use the courts free from intimidation. Sheriff Smith is this really an example of the ethics you instill into your officers?
