I mean Star Trek makes light speed look so easy get yourself some special effects, get William Shatner, put him in a room with a chair and some supporting cast and you have light speed, the grim reality is though that light speed is the equivalent to grabbing a cigarette lighter and setting yourself on fire and thats at an estimated 90%, thats not even warp 1. Do you want to know what the real irony is, thats an obstacle before you even designed an engine and a craft capable of reaching anywhere near that speed.
