I met a man who never cease pursuing what he loves doing. He is Don pedro jack. He was my lecturer at the university of portharcourt @slt those days. He holds msc physics. After my first and second degree and about to go for third, i met this man who has spent 14 years of his lifetime pursuing phD. Something that would have taken three years in south Africa. Phd has become anothet monster in Nigeria. A country where merit is not recognised. Spurious interviews everywhere. Ask NRCRI,umudike and Michael okpara university of Agriculture, umudike- nepotism generating square pegs in round holes. The days of reckoning will soon catch up with the principal officers of the two institutions.
