I met a sweet family by chance who asked if I could document their baby Tylers memorial. Stacy who is currently serving the Air Force oversees in Germany is originally from Vacaville. She flew her family here for one week to spread his ashes in Santa Barbara, plant a beautiful tree in his honor, and release balloons to say good bye. All my love to Stacy, Jeff, and their sons Jake 4 and Drew 3, along with all their extended family. I asked Stacy if she could share her story of Tyler. Our story with Tyler... We lost our son, Tyler James, on June 4th 2014. We had journeyed through infertility for several years and were thrilled to be pregnant with our 3rd son. We were 5 months pregnant when one day I didnt feel him moving. We went to labor and delivery and confirmed our worst nightmare that Tyler was gone. We then went through a 26 hour labor to deliver him. We are so grateful for his tiny little life and the joy and hope that we have found through this difficult time. He has taught us to realize how fragile life is, how beautiful ordinary moments are, and to notice the gifts all around us. We hope to live differently to honor his life, to pause more, slow down, and find a few great moments each and every day.
