I met my husband twenty-two years ago today. We were at a party and we were standing in line for the bathroom when he looked over at me and said, Is that your real hair color? (I had auburn hair for many years, but I was going through a phase where my hair was a particularly bright shade of red). I answered him truthfully and weve been together ever since. Moral of the story: that pickup line may not be the most innovative, but it will hook a girl.
