I might get mocked and ridiculed for it but Im bound to say it. Everybody keeps praising this Britnay Maynerd girl for ending her life. Granted I dont know her pain or her whole story. Likely a lot of people praising her dont either. I can think off hand of 2 people I know personally who battled cancer with a smile. One eventually lost. Everytime I saw her she was smiling, no matter how bad it was. Another is still fighting it and the damage it and the treatments caused her body. The one thats still fighting has been doing so I reckon for going on 15-20 years. Time after time being rejected for transplants. But she lives...she gets by not just to complain and gripe about pain and hardships. Always a smile. If she gave up all those years ago shed never seen her children grow and never held her Grandson. So while everybody is praising this young woman for swallowing a handful of pills and just easing into a sleeping death. Ill sing praises of two women I know personally with more guts than anybody Ive ever known.
