I miss Bishop A. Ladell Thomas SR !! My spiritual father , a prince among Bishops and the epitome of a Pastor. He had charisma, class ,style, funny and fun to be around. Bishop Thomas was such a peoples person he made everyone feel that they were his favorite. I miss him so much !! So loving , so caring , so sharing. He was given to hospitlity. Bishop Thomas was indeed a leader and he led by example he declared you cannot be to broke and be a leader. He was a biggggggg giver and he taught us to give. He loved the bible, he taught us the the bible. He was a bible scholar and a great gospel preacher. I remember a sermon he preached Caught in a Squeeze. I would love to hear him say let me close my agrument. And he could truly close it. He was a preaching machine. He taught us to pray and he always said if you are going to ask God for something ask for something big, because he is a big God. I miss him so much. Yes we were indeed a big happy chruch family Deliverance & Praise Temple Chruch of God in Christ 702 Harley Drive Harker Heights ,Texas. Bishop Thomas taught us to love one another and get along like brothers and sisters. He was our father and were his children. He treated us as such, encouraged you when you were right and quickly corrected you when you were wrong. And then would tell you now lets go eat. He and Mother Elnorna Thomas was going to feed you . Bishop was a man of Peace. To know him was to love him. He was lovable and he was greatly love and well respected through out christendom and our Fort Hood Military Community. The maynors and city official often looked to Bishop Thomas for prayer and guidance. His life touched all that he came in contact with. Indeed he fought a good fight and he keep the faith. Rest In Peace Sir.Your Spiritual Daughter Vernell Galbreath as Bishop Thomas would say Galbreath and sometimes he would call me Missionary.
