I miss my Mom. She was my best advisor. She opened her home to me and my kids when I had nowhere to go...more than once. She fed us, clothed us and other grandchildren all on a meager social security check since my Dad had died suddenly at 62 and she was disabled with serious diabetes. She had EVERYONES back. Some of the best memories...walden pond...Nantasket beach...the pool on Gore St...overnights in Hudson..early morning coffees together...shopping for flowers...Zayres....Chinese food on New Years Eve...and every year she was able, an Italian Rum cake for my birthday. She was my best best friend...and I miss her now...miss her strength...more than ever. :-(
