I miss this track & its so crazy how relevant it still is. Remember when KRS-One, X-Clan, Public Enemy, Poor Righteous Teachers had us PROUD 2 be Black youth? A lot more of us stayed in school too. There was just way more love in the neighborhoods.... Remember the green, black, and red medallions with the shape of the African continent? EVERYBODY used to dance (not twerk) at the parties! We used to 2-step, 3-step at the parties....we never thought about killin each other, walkin around with a gun. Now we consistently degrade each other. We care more about what we can get than we do about each offer. Our image today has made us targets to the police. We are the direct Children of The MOST HIGH. We have never been inferior; know that we are superior. We are not destined to be ignorant & ashamed. We are the LEADERS, everyone on Earth wants to be like us: Black people. #IStillLoveMyBrothersandSisterslikecrazy
