I must say the Nursing staff at Hendry regional hospital was very wonderful and caring, however Dr. Herbert E Ruiz Gonzalez was very offensive He obviously did not take the time or care to read over my medical chart before entering my room. I was told an hour earlier by my RN my vitals are great an my 2nd EKG was normal how ever my kidney function was in need of more testing that day! Dr. Ruiz asked me about my previous hart attack 3 years ago and I told him about this. He then went on to ask me about drug use and smoking ; I do neither! He kept pushing the issue of cocaine and basically called me a drug addict and then discharged me. They had blood results and urine analysis available from that morning and also access to my medical history and charts . I am now looking for a good nephrologist for my kidney function, I am home and offended. I understand routine questions, but I also understand stereotyping. Yes I am young and heart attack and kidney issues are rare at my age however it happens , I only went to Hendry regional because I was so scared with the horrible pain I had in my chest . Next time I will chance it and drive a distance
