I must say today was a day that put priorities in order and teach you not to sweat the small stuff. We had prob 10-12 kids all diff ages but one lil boy really got me. He was so small and frail but DETERMINED to put that sailboat kit together and paint it. No names to mention due to Hippa but I really gotta say it was hard to hold back the tears when he gave me a hug and his Mom took a pic of him and I with his boat. I know I will never see that boy again but I am so honored that just for a bit i was able to make him smile and forget being sick. I challenge everyone to take a few hours and go volunteer with these kids. It did bring tears to my eyes leaving but just knowing I made a kids day is all the reward I will EVER NEED!!!!!!
