I must share this Comcast story with you. I called the regular Comcast Customer Service number today (651.222.3333) and selected the option to downgrade service. I needed to find pricing information for cancelling our landline and just going with cells. Turns out that isnt a cheaper option since wed lose our triple play. Anyway, the guy asks me if Im looking for changing any services or just looking for a way to cut the cost. I tell him its a cost thing and he tells me he has several options he can offer me. Because weve been customers with Comcast for 22 years, he was able to chop $30 off our bill per month for the next 12 months with no contract. Did I want to do that? DUH! So, theres your money saving advice for the day. If youre a long standing customer with Comcast, give them a jingle and select the downgrade option. You get transferred to the Customer Loyalty department and you may be able to save some money. This is the 2nd time theyve lowered our bill in the last 2-3 years because I was going to cancel or downgrade service. Good luck!
