I need a bit of help sourcing a film. Been after it for ages, but cannot seem to find any record of it. Its likely to be a made-for-tv effort (UK), but could also be part of a mystery theatre-type Saturday night effort. Heres what you have to go on (SPOILERS): A hitman is lured to a hotel room . He sits down in front of a desk with a blinding lamp shone in his face. The shadowy figure from behind the desk gives him an envelope of info about the target - a local farmer. The hitman spends time stalking the farmer on his property before attacking him at night. During the ensuing and prolonged game of cat-an-mouse, the hitman is over-come by the farmer, and is set alight. He burns to death. We fin out (cant remember how) that the farmer is the shadowy figure behind the desk and the whole thing was a test of his mettle. Anyone else seen this? PLEASE? Its driving me mad and I really want to see it again. Initially I thought John Thaw was in it as the farmer, but now Im not so sure....
