I need help in a very specific question: I bought a bike and after 10 minutes use, i noticed that the seatpost shim is misaligned with the frame, look at the small red arrows in the picture. Since it is a C shape, im afraid when the quick release is pressed, it unbalances the applied force, could it damage the aluminium frame? If yes, how to remove and reinstall the shim without damaging the frame? (i tried with bare hands but appears to be stuck). Just to clarify its a dahon folding bike, so its naturally weaker than a standard alu frame. Thanks in advance.
