I need some opinions from yall. As you know Im making 11 dresses for a birthday party. 2 of which are big ball gowns. My problem....I JUST got the measurements for the last girl. No one showed up for fittings Saturday. The party has been moved from November 15th to November 8th. Im scheduled for back surgery on October 31st which means the dresses have got to be done by October 30th. What do you do??? DO you keep going? and turn them over whether or complete or not on the 30th? Im not really getting the cooperation I need. Ive got 18 days. Im about 65-70% done. 4 of the dresses needs zippers and hems. 4 needs fittings, then zipper and hem. The 2 balls gowns are at 50%. Both need stone work. Keep in mind I work a part time job (25 hours a week) and go to school full time. This is for a family member. I dont want to burn any bridges....but Im worried about getting it done. Opinions???
