I need to clarify that everything Bugsys Buddies does is NOT FOR PROFIT. The fees that we charge are to cover gas costs, keeping crates properly working, in great condition and disinfected, purchase of pee pads, food, treats, toys, leashes (they get chewed often), bottled water, blankets, towels, etc. Those items are barely covered by transport fees, we also have vehicle maintenance that we cover out of our own pockets. The vehicle (Chevy Astro Van) we use is solely for transport services. It is my goal to increase our efforts in helping rescues save shelter pets and transport them where need be. We are in process of 501c3 status....its a long process!
