I need to draw some bones for a reconstruction drawing of a tomb - TopicsExpress

I need to draw some bones for a reconstruction drawing of a tomb in Bronze Age Jericho. Dr. Keller recommended the book Human Osteology by White, or his book Human Bone Manual. Before I beg, borrow, steal, (or even BUY a copy), are any of you familiar with it? Little details in the pictures do not matter so much, but I need some way of visualizing a variety of the larger bones in a lot of positions. Think of femurs, not in the medical positions, but nearly end-on, perhaps, and foreshortened. Would these books help me? I had hoped to take some photos in the bone lab, but Dr. Keller tells me that photography is not generally allowed, especially of skulls. Are there any model (fake) bones available for photography? Any advice would help me out immensely. Thank you all!
