I need to say a really big thank you to someone :) As many of you will know, I have been fund raising to try and bring Christmas to the children in and around Uchira, who have never had a Christmas day. I have had such a lot of love and support, be it well wishes, donations or people collecting donated clothing and such! and the response has been truly overwhelming, and I am deeply grateful for each and every person who has or is helping to make this possible for the children..... so thank you! :) One of the fund raisers back in the UK has been having a Christmas raffle to win a hamper of chocolates and things! and also there were a few donations and a cake sale too! In doing so they raised £770!! for the children! That will bring Christmas to over 100 children!!!!!!............100!!!!! Thank you Kathleen Buckley for all your love, support and hard work! It is truly an amazing effort, and I cant begin to tell you how grateful i am that you found us! :) Kathleen has also collected a LOT! of childrens clothing to be brought here in the new year... add that to sponsoring a child that was abandoned here called Zenna, and helping her new family get on their feet..... Kathleen has surely been heaven sent for Uchira........ You have had, and are continuing to have, such a hugely positive impact on the village and the children, that my words cant begin to do it justice!!!
