I need to say this before anything else. Its quite important before this page really becomes worth anything to keep up to it needs a purpose, much more than just to say, LIKE First of all, when I did what I did it was for a reason, to go against the grain of those using the ice bucket thing. I just got sick of seeing it on my newsfeed, people doing it that wouldnt normally help anyone else but themselves, but as soon a camera comes out they do it and text 2 quid and feel they done something. I am nothing out of the ordinary to the next person in the street, I just did it out of my way of thinking in the moment. I dont have much, get by like everyone has to, do what I do, but im comfortable with what I have because its much more than many. We can all do what I did and many more can do it way better as we have already seen, I feel a bit of a cop out as when I look back I did the bare minimum out of all possibilities. Didnt even leave the comfort of my heated leather interior to serve up crap. How bad is that? But out of it came a following that has been amazing with the response and messages. I didnt plan for that, ask for that or even want that. Unless your in that situation you dont know what its like. Pretty damn daunting is an understatement, forces a moment of choice of responsibility. Ignore it, or repay the respect of those who offered it. I guess when in the the face of that choice, with all those people around the world watching you got to make that choice. Ignore it.....or use the following responsibly and maximise its potential for the greater good. So thats what I have chose to do. Instead of sitting and moaning about the state of the world see what I can do with this following of all you who have shown respect, to help bring those who are genuine, and less fortunate back up to a respectable level. Even those who may have done wrong deserve a chance to take it, its a path your walking not one thats been trod thats important here. We all done things we are sorry for now including myself. Its doing the right thing thats the focus for. But thats the key here. it can only work and truely be effective and worthwhile if all the people involved are genuine and acting out of honesty, selflessness, and minimum profit where overheads are concerned. The idea is to offer what help you can, however small it may seem it can be made use of by someone somewhere. We can really make a difference in this world but only from the bottom up. Cant leave no one out of this chance. Its a real opportunity to actually shut up moaning about stuff and actually do something whilst we are all agreeing. Those who want in can, those who not fair dos. Just dont get in our way trying whilst you carry on moaning, at this point you deem yourself irrelevant anyway. Anyone acting out of order will be expelled eventually anyway. Just no point in not trying, atleast we did where others wouldnt and that for me means alot more than some idiots selfish opinion. Theres a million and one ideas we can use and with our collective resources making a huge change certainly achievable. If we get talking between ourselves the opportunities arise and solutions formulated. Im not talking money here, its not about how big is your wallet, if you end up spending so be it, just dont go crazy and stitch yourself up in the process. And to remember this page is not meant so much to be about me, just more of a reference point and meeting place for the us. So yeah with that said it needs to asked is worth it? Are we doing it? And if we are is there anyone else we can find thats with us? If its not I dont really see the point of a page about me, just seems a bit silly and egocentric, dont need that, I got a life to live if im being honest and I cant change the world alone and plan to try either. So???
