I need to vent some, yesterday at work (I work at Macdonalds, gets me out of the house three days a week} any ways as some of you know, I live in a blue collar town, its a town that are big on Charities, giving, and personality, but on the other hand its a town that has trouble hiring people, and so retail, and restaurant industy suffered, we do not have enough people to fill these lower spots. Most have careers in the mines, oilfields, meth gas, and railroad. So the people here know that the lower paiding jobs go to other people, whom do not have such a big trade, and thus our teens out here. Well now you got the picture, we had a day of hell, we can come in to our work place cheery happy, and it takes one idiot customer to change the whole attuide of the work place, so again we also have tourists through the summer, I call the season terrisot season only because, they yell, they are demanding, they dont realize the status of what our town goes through, and of course I get it, that they are hungery, (not all tourists are like this) but guys we can do only so much with only a skelton crew. One guy inform us we were the worse Macdonalds hes been to, and then he starts all the customers complaining in suit, {sigh} sitting off a chain receation of course. The day before a lady actually standing up front screaming because someone put bacon on her salad and she didnt want it, making a fool of your self does not get any results any more then you had ask politely. We got back up from huge orders, running out of things had to go get more stock, out of freezer, etc, to restock, had to cook more product, short staffed this happens everyday,,so I make a list, so folks if you can give restaurant workers a break now and then, it surely would help. heres a list from someone that may help. !. know there might be a little wait in smaller towns, for your food, hard to find people to work. 2. If your order is mess up, please do not scream so that the business around you hear you, you are only making it hard for people to respect you on both sides of the counter, be polite, and ask for a manager, or most of the time they replace your order, if not, get a phone number and complain to higher up. 3. If you had to paid for something extra do not give us a hard time, it might be owners policies or companies that we had to follow so we do not lose our jobs, 4. its summer, we have a lot of teens starting out in the work force some of our kids are only believe it or not fourteen, and fifteen years old, they see this kind of attuide from grownups, and it does not show an example of how grownups are suppose to react, they are learning what the work field is about, and will shy away from jobs like ours if they keep seeing negititay in the work place, also they have not ran registers, just learning these things, are not the minors allow to touch anything hot, like coffee, fries, etc, so dont ask them to, have them ask someone in balck, a minor usually has a redshirt on, or some different color shirt then those whom arent minors. Now on a another note we are not perfect, we are human, and some of our managers or people are under stress trying to serve you, and get the food out, get the lines working, and may be that there is not enough cooks, and one person getting drinks, fries, assembly your sandwiches, waiting for food to come back from the kitchen, so we will do the best job we can with limit people, so please have patinets with us all if we are stress then we might be snappy also for what we are going thur, no its not a excuse to yell back at ya, but put up with twelve or eight hours every day, and over work can flazzled the nerves, we all need to be kinder, and respectful on both sides of the counters,P.S. Dont forget if you get behind people from a bus, or group then there is also a wait on food, or a big huge order, . Please be kind, and slow down in life, as we all here for a reason.ty for listening.
