I never have to pray about things that God told me to give Him thanks for-- so, lets see, what did God tell me to give thanks for? all circumstances! (1 thess 5 v 18)..well, if God wants me giving thanks in all circumstances, that means i have nothing to worry about, fear over, sorrow in that i need to pray for. But George, God also tells us to pray without ceasing-- Yes He does. But He also tells us what not to pray for and what to pray for. He told us to give thanks in all circumstances and being that He told us that ALL things work together for GOOD, there is no reason to be asking God to change anything! What He does tell us to pray for are the things of the Spirit(his wisdom and understanding) so that what will change is the way we view all these circumstances that work together for good but very few see any good in anything, and why they always pray for God to change everything despite God telling them to give thanks in everything! This is not called rocket science--it is called True Genuine Faith In Gods Word!
