I never knew Dixie pearl, never met her, was never likely to meet her. but I am saddened by the news that she had to be euthanized today. I have followed her progress for the last couple of weeks and hoped she would recover from her horrific injuries. I still cannot believe that someone can treat their dog as badly as she was treated. especially a boxer, the loving clown of the dog world. My thoughts are with you Dixie pearl. I hope you see my old mates Paddy and Zac in doggy heaven. I hope you feel better and get plenty of treats, pats and snuggles, I hope there are plenty of tennis balls to chew, plenty of soft warm blankets and I hope there is somewhere for you to rest your sore head. My two girls will never realise how good they have it, and they never will. They deserve all the love, fun, cuddles, play fights, and free runs in the world as you did too RIP Dixie pearl.
