I never met Chucky Mullins, he passed before I was a student at Ole Miss. However being a Rebel football fan, I quickly learned about him and how his jersey number is still worn by those chosen as courageous players. Today, Chucky Mullins was honored in numerous places across the campus - a road dedication, a racial reconciliation event, and an induction into the M Club Hall of Fame. I never met Chucky, but I felt his presence on campus today. I heard his motto. I will repeat it again and again throughout my life. Its time. Never quit. Its time. Thank you, #38.
